Sitting amid the Salzburg Sports World, it is a wonderful starting point for summertime day hikes to the shores of the Tappenkarsee and around the Jägersee. And as a special tip, why not take one of those always-popular horse-drawn sleigh rides.
The Gasthof "Jägersee", located at the valley head, ca. 4 km from Kleinarl and inside the nature sanctuary, is popular with locals and visitors alike. During the daytime and evening, we are always glad to serve you wild-game specialties and other traditional regional dishes.
And of course, you are also welcome to spend your holidays in one of our rooms with gloriously romantic lake views (rooms only available during the summer...) and discover complete relaxation. Rowing boats are available.
